Community Shares is Northwest Ohio’s only workplace giving federation with a focus on social justice, animal rights, the arts and the environment. We generate essential operating funds for nonprofit organizations that are working for positive change.
Currently, over 40 area employers include Community Shares in their annual workplace charitable campaigns. These companies have recognized that expanding employee choice is an easy and effective way to express to their employees -- and the community -- that they support a sense of corporate responsibility and social and civic involvement.

The hottest night in town!!
Hot August Night at Fifth Third Field raised more than $10,000 for Northwest Ohio Community Shares’ operating budget.
More than 200 people bought tickets for the event, which included a raffle, silent auction, and buffet dinner at Fifth Third Field. Guests enjoyed an all-you-can-eat picnic-style buffet of hamburgers and veggie burgers with all the trimmings, chips and big chocolate chip cookies. Outside, guests took to the stands to enjoy the game and a beautiful sunset.

Family Promise: Partners with faith communities to provide shelter, case management, and referrals
for homeless families.
Hannah's Socks: Serving homeless and domestic violence shelters, dignity is given - one pair of
socks at a time.
Perrysburg Symphony Chorale: Encourages appreciation of classical music through performance, and by
developing skills of young musicians.
Scrap4Art: Supports education and the visual arts while encouraging conservation of natural resources.
