Thank you to everyone who joined us for our second annual Share-a-Glass event and made it a great success! With your help, Community Shares raised over $3,000 to help support 25 fantastic local nonprofit agencies.

Over 150 attendees enjoyed a wonderful selection of wines and beers from Heidelberg Distributing. They went terrifically with a variety of delicious appetizers and desserts brought by our member agencies. Guests also enjoyed the one-of-a-kind, handmade wine charms created by Scrap4Art volunteers out of recycled materials. Mingling, networking, and just plain fun were the order of the evening!

Congratulations again to Harvey Savage, the well-deserved recipient of our second Robert Brundage award for extraordinary community service.

The hottest night in town!!

Hot August Night at Fifth Third Field raised more than $10,000 for Northwest Ohio Community Shares’ operating budget.

More than 200 people bought tickets for the event, which included a raffle, silent auction, and buffet dinner at Fifth Third Field. Guests enjoyed an all-you-can-eat picnic-style buffet of hamburgers and veggie burgers with all the trimmings, chips and big chocolate chip cookies. Outside, guests took to the stands to enjoy the game and a beautiful sunset.

Our thanks to everyone who attended, our sponsors and a special thank you to volunteers from our 27 member agencies, who donated countless hours planning and coordinating this important event.
