Northwest Ohio Community Shares proudly welcomes two new member agencies: Cancer Connection of Northwest Ohio and Josina Lott Residential and Community Services. Both agencies were accepted at our March Board meeting and will appear on our Campaign Pledge List for this fall’s workplace-giving campaign.

Cancer Connection of Northwest Ohio, Inc., which was established in December, 2008, provides free, hands-on services to cancer patients and their families. Jean Schoen, President of Cancer Connection, says her organization “journeys hand-in-hand with those who are afflicted with cancer by connecting them to vital resources, providing hands-on support, and creating programs that meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of cancer patients and their families in our community.”

Josina Lott Residential and Community Services, which was incorporated in 1973, provides residential, vocational, respite and recreational services to individuals with developmental disabilities. According to Michael Malone, Executive Director, “Its mission is to enrich the lives of persons with developmental disabilities by providing quality services, safe environments and opportunities for self-determination and community integration.”
